The holiday season is a time for connection, generosity, and coming together as a community. Canyon Creek Services is inviting our community to help make the holidays a little brighter for the individuals and families we serve.

Whether you're helping provide a Thanksgiving meal or making the holidays special for a family, your generosity makes a meaningful difference.

Thanksgiving Meal Donations

Help us make sure our survivors and their children can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal this year!

We are collecting food donations for both our Deeply Affordable Housing clients and Shelter clients. Because their needs and circumstances are different, we are organizing donations in two ways.

Deeply Affordable Housing Clients

We are accepting uncooked Thanksgiving meal ingredients that families can prepare in their own homes. Some helpful donation items include:

• Canned green beans and other vegetables

• Small turkeys or hams

• Boxed mashed potatoes

• Macaroni and cheese

• Stuffing and gravy

• Cranberry sauce

• Other traditional Thanksgiving meal ingredients

Shelter Clients

We want to help make Thanksgiving special for the individuals and families staying in our shelter by providing a warm, ready-to-enjoy meal they can all share together.

We are accepting donations of prepared Thanksgiving dishes that can be served family-style. Financial contributions are also welcome and will allow Canyon Creek Services to purchase meals.

If you are interested in donating a prepared meal, please contact Trish Littleton at trish@canyoncreekservices.org to coordinate arrangements.

Holiday Gift Assistance

Help make the holidays special for survivors and their children staying at Canyon Creek Services' shelter!

Our advocates work directly with shelter clients to identify holiday wishes and needs for their families. Community members can help make those wishes a reality by sponsoring an Angel Family and collecting gifts on their behalf.

How to Participate

Beginning November 16th, community members will be able to look through our Angel Sponsor Google Form and select a family to sponsor.

1. Visit our Angel Sponsor form beginning November 16th.

2. Choose an Angel Family to sponsor and review their holiday gift requests.

3. Shop for the requested gifts to help make their holiday season a little brighter.

4. Deliver collected gifts to Canyon Creek Services' Main Office by December 16th.

Every family has different needs and wishes, and your generosity helps make the holidays a little more special for the survivors and children staying in our shelter.
